We built ProductDome because most product listings are hard to compare. The same item appears under several names, specifications are written in different units, accessories are mixed in with the products they attach to, and the pages that rank for a search are often the ones with the most pages, not the clearest ones.
Our answer is narrow and practical. We take a category, clean the data behind it, remove what does not belong, and present what is left in a way that can be compared attribute by attribute.
We do not run a laboratory. Our content is written from product data and public information, and we say so on every page rather than implying otherwise.
What ProductDome is
At its core, ProductDome is a curated product directory.
Instead of reproducing a raw catalogue, we work category by category. Product titles, images and specifications come from public Amazon product listings and, where available, from the Amazon Product Advertising API. We normalise attributes so that items in the same category can be compared, group variants of a single product so that one item does not fill a list, and remove entries that are not genuinely part of the category.
Alongside the directory, the site publishes:
How access works
ProductDome is free to use.
Everything on the site is open. There is no account, no paywall and no gated feature.
A newsletter is planned but has not launched. You can join the waitlist to receive it when it does, and change or stop it at any time atemail settings.
How we make money
ProductDome is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
In plain terms: if you follow a product link from our pages to Amazon and buy something, Amazon may pay us an advertising fee. The fee comes out of Amazon’s margin. It does not add anything to your order and it does not change the price you pay.
Brands can pay for a sponsored spot, and every paid spot is labeled "Sponsored" where it appears. Payment never changes how products rank, and we do not weight our selections by the fee rate attached to a category. The full detail is on theAffiliate Disclosure page, and how we choose products is on theEditorial and Review Policy page.
Our vision
We want ProductDome to be the page you check before you buy, not another layer of noise.
A place where:
- buyers can compare products on the same attributes
- useful tools stay free
- comparisons are honest about what the data can and cannot show
- the method behind a recommendation is written down
- coverage widens over time without the quality dropping
We are building it ourselves for now. As it grows we want to bring more people in and widen the catalogue, while keeping the parts that people rely on free.
What ProductDome is not
ProductDome is not a shop. We do not sell products, hold stock, take payment, ship anything or handle returns, and we are not a party to any purchase you make on Amazon.
We do not display prices or availability, because they change faster than any page can follow. We do not display Amazon customer reviews or star ratings. We do not publish hands on test results, because we do not run hands on tests. And we are not planning to put product browsing, comparisons or buying guides behind a charge.
How we keep pages current
Categories are refreshed on a rolling basis. A refresh re-reads the source listings, updates specifications and images, drops products that are no longer listed, and re-runs the selection so that new products can enter a list.
Even so, listing data changes without notice and a page can be out of date by the time you read it. Treat our pages as a way to narrow a category down, and confirm the current details on the Amazon listing before you buy. If you find something wrong, tell us through theContact Page and we will correct it.
Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. ProductDome is an independent participant in the Associates Program, and Amazon does not review, approve or endorse what we publish.
Who it is for
ProductDome is built for people who want to buy carefully:
Who builds ProductDome
Guides, comparisons and product scores on ProductDome are compiled by our research team from tracked specification and listing data. Rankings and scores are computed from that data using a published method. We do not do hands on lab testing, and we say so on every page.
We are building ProductDome to be genuinely useful.
Clearer comparisons, a method you can read, less noise, and a route to the listing when you are ready to buy. Questions go through our Contact Page.
