ProductDome is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
This page explains what that relationship means in practice, where affiliate links appear, what data is recorded when you click one, and what the relationship does not change about the content you read.
How ProductDome earns money
ProductDome is free to read. There is no account, no paywall and no subscription. The site is funded by advertising fees from the Amazon Associates Program.
When you follow a product link from ProductDome to Amazon and then buy something during the window Amazon defines, Amazon may pay us an advertising fee on that qualifying purchase. The fee is paid by Amazon out of its own margin. It is not added to your order, and it does not change the price you pay or the terms of your purchase.
We do not sell products ourselves, we do not hold stock, we do not process payments, and we are not a party to any transaction between you and Amazon.
Where affiliate links appear
Assume that any outbound product link on ProductDome is an affiliate link. They appear in:
- product pages
- category and subcategory listings
- comparison pages
- buying guides and articles
- brand pages
- newsletter emails, if you have subscribed to them
Links that point to non commercial destinations, such as a manufacturer support page or a standards body, are not affiliate links and earn us nothing.
What happens when you click a link
Some outbound links pass through our own tracking redirect at tracking.productdome.com before sending you on to Amazon. The redirect records the click so we can attribute it to the page that produced it and detect invalid or automated traffic. It stores the timestamp, the page the click started from, the country, and either a first party cookie identifier or a hashed form of the network address.
The redirect cannot see your Amazon account, your basket or your order. Amazon does not send us sale level data. The only reporting we receive is the aggregated affiliate reporting Amazon provides to participants in the program. Cookie details are in our Cookie Policy and you can change your choices at cookie settings. The full data picture is in the Privacy Policy.
What the relationship does not change
No brand, seller or manufacturer can buy a position on ProductDome. We do not accept payment for inclusion, for ranking, for a score, or for wording. Editorial decisions are made before any question of advertising fees arises, and the method we use is described on ourEditorial and Review Policy page.
Advertising fee rates differ between Amazon product categories. We do not weight our selections or our ordering by the fee rate attached to a category, and we do not remove a product because it pays less.
Product data, prices and availability
Product titles, images and specifications shown on ProductDome are sourced from public Amazon product listings and, where available, from the Amazon Product Advertising API. That information can change without notice and may be out of date by the time you read it.
ProductDome does not display prices or availability. Price, availability, shipping, delivery estimates, seller identity, warranty and returns are set by Amazon and its sellers. Always confirm the current details on the Amazon listing before you buy. The listing on Amazon, not our page, is the accurate source at the moment of purchase.
We do not display Amazon customer reviews or star ratings on ProductDome. Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.
No guarantees
Our content is general information. It is written from product data and public information, not from hands on testing. We do not guarantee:
- that a product is suitable for your particular use
- the quality, safety or durability of a third party product
- availability, stock or delivery times
- any future price or discount
- warranty, returns or after sales support
- the accuracy of data supplied by manufacturers or sellers
You are responsible for checking a product before you buy it. Nothing on ProductDome is professional advice.
Compliance with the program
We follow the Amazon Associates Program Operating Agreement and the associated Program Policies. That includes displaying this disclosure clearly, using the required identification statement, keeping product information current within the limits of the data we receive, not reproducing prices or availability outside the permitted methods, not sending affiliate links in unsolicited messages, and not presenting Amazon content in a way that suggests Amazon endorses ProductDome. We are an independent participant. Amazon does not review, approve or endorse our content.
Your choices
You do not have to accept affiliate attribution to use ProductDome. If you refuse the marketing and affiliate category at cookie settings, the product links still work and still take you to the same Amazon listing. We simply lose the record of which page sent the click.
You can also reach Amazon without using our links at all, by searching for the product name directly. Nothing on ProductDome is withheld from you either way, because the site has no account, no paywall and no gated feature.
If you subscribe to the newsletter, the emails may contain the same kind of affiliate links as the site. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and you can change what we send at email settings.
Questions and corrections
If you think a link, a disclosure or a product entry is wrong, tell us through theContact Page and we will review it. Corrections are handled as described in the Editorial and Review Policy. This disclosure may be updated, and the current version always carries the last updated date shown at the top of this page.
