Overview
The Klein 1010 is a cutting tool with plastic handles, weighing just 6.9 ounces. Klein Tools has a long history in electrical and wire work, and the light weight here fits a hand cutter meant for repeated single handed use.
That combination suggests a niche but trusted tool rather than a broad, high turnover product.

Who it's for
Electricians and technicians who need a light, dependable hand cutter as part of a larger toolkit. Not the pick for anyone needing heavy gauge wire or cable cutting, where a bigger tool with more leverage is required.
Pros and cons
- Very light at 6.9 ounces
- Klein Tools brand reputation for electrical work
- Lower monthly purchase volume than similar tools in this set
- No manufacturer description or detailed spec sheet listed
Performance notes
At 6.9 ounces with plastic handles, this cutter is built for control and repeated single handed use rather than high leverage cutting of thick material. Its strength lies in the brand's reputation and the near perfect rating rather than raw cutting capacity alone.
