Overview
A 16 oz bottle of earthbath's Oatmeal & Aloe dog shampoo in a Vanilla and Almond scent, formulated as a soap-free wash with olive oil, almond and aloe vera for dogs with itchy or dry skin.
Being soap-free and barley-free sets this apart from a basic dog shampoo, aiming it at dogs with sensitive or reactive skin rather than general-purpose washing. The oatmeal and aloe combination does the soothing work, with the vanilla almond scent as a finishing note rather than the main selling point.
- 16 oz bottle of oatmeal and aloe dog shampoo
- Soap-free, barley-free formula
- Vanilla and almond scent
- Contains olive oil, almond and aloe vera
Who it's for
Owners of dogs with dry, itchy or sensitive skin who want a soap-free wash rather than a standard detergent-based shampoo. Not a medicated flea or tick treatment.
Pros and cons
- Soap-free formula gentler on dry or itchy skin
- Combines oatmeal, aloe vera and olive oil
- Barley-free for dogs sensitive to that grain
- Not a medicated treatment for fleas, ticks or skin infections
- Scented product, not fragrance-free
Performance notes
The soothing effect comes from the combination of oatmeal, aloe vera and olive oil rather than any single ingredient, and being soap-free means it does not strip natural oils the way a detergent-based shampoo can. Being barley-free also removes a common grain allergen from the formula.
