Overview
Not built for left-handed players, this maple-bodied autoharp comes with a rock maple pin block and a right-hand chord layout. Alloy steel strings are fitted, and the finish is polished Tobacco Sunburst. A tuning wrench, tuning tips and picks are in the box.
The reason to buy is a complete starter kit with the tools to tune it and a long warranty. The limit is that the listing gives conflicting data on strings and connection, and no sound description.
Who it's for
A strummer who wants to accompany songs on a maple autoharp, plus the tools to tune it, will find the kit complete. Left-handed players, and anyone who needs a documented string count, should look elsewhere.
Pros and cons
- Tuning wrench and tips included
- Rock maple pin block
- Long limited warranty
- Maple top, back and body
- String count listed incorrectly
- Jack listing unclear
- Sound not described
Performance notes
A rock maple pin block holds the tuning pins, which governs how well the instrument holds pitch. Chord selection and strumming set the playing style, and picks are provided. The listing gives a jack connection but does not describe a pickup or amplification.
