Overview
At 94.8 pounds and running on a 220-volt circuit, the Shop W1666 is built as stationary shop equipment rather than a handheld tool. Its 1,550-watt motor runs off a plug, with no battery listed.
Running on 220 volts sets this apart from most household tools, which typically use a standard 120-volt outlet, so buyers need to confirm they have the right circuit before ordering. At nearly 95 pounds, it is built to sit in a shop rather than move between job sites.
- 220-volt AC power source
- 1,550-watt motor
- 94.8 pounds
Who it's for
Fits shop owners or serious hobbyists with a 220-volt circuit already in place who need stationary equipment. Not a fit for anyone without 220-volt power available or looking for a portable, battery-powered tool.
Pros and cons
- 1,550-watt motor for real cutting or driving power
- Runs on plug power, no battery required
- Requires a 220-volt circuit, not standard household power
- At 94.8 pounds it is not a portable tool
- No specific tool type given in the listing
Performance notes
A 1,550-watt motor on a 220-volt circuit draws more current than a standard household outlet supplies, which is why this class of equipment needs dedicated wiring. The near-95-pound weight further points to a stationary setup rather than a tool moved from job to job.
