Overview
This Playtex nurser set uses disposable drop-in liners rather than a hard bottle interior, in a 118 milliliter, about 4 ounce, capacity sized for newborns. The set is listed as BPA free with a 3 count pack.
Drop-in liner bottles work differently from standard hard-sided bottles: a disposable pouch sits inside the bottle shell and collapses as the baby feeds, often marketed as reducing air intake compared to a rigid bottle. That collapsing action is the main functional difference from a standard nurser, though the listing does not specify how many liners are included beyond the 3 bottle count.
- 118 milliliter, about 4 ounce, capacity
- BPA free
- 3 count pack
- Newborn age range
Who it's for
Suits parents who prefer disposable liners over washing a bottle interior after each feeding, particularly for newborns given the listed age range. Not the choice for parents who want to avoid the recurring cost of disposable liners.
Pros and cons
- BPA free bottle shell
- Disposable drop-in liners reduce interior cleaning
- Newborn sized 118 milliliter capacity
- Liners are a recurring cost not included for ongoing use
- Pack includes only 3 bottles
Performance notes
The drop-in liner collapses as the baby feeds rather than pulling in air through a rigid bottle wall, which is the core mechanic behind this bottle style. The BPA free shell holds the liner in place during feeding.
