ACCUSPLIT Pro Survivor A601X Stopwatch

Overview

The Accusplit 12440191 is a black stopwatch from a brand long associated with handheld timing devices for coaches and athletes. The listed 8.75 by 4.38 by 1 inch dimensions likely reflect the packaging rather than the device itself, given how small a stopwatch typically is.

The 0.02 pound weight figure looks unusually low even for a stopwatch and may reflect a listing quirk, so treat it as approximate rather than exact. Accusplit built its reputation on rugged, simple timing tools favored by track and swim coaches.

Who it's for

Fits coaches, referees, and athletes who want a dedicated stopwatch rather than relying on a phone. Less relevant for anyone wanting multi-function fitness tracking, since this is a single-purpose timing device.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

As a single-purpose timing tool, a stopwatch's value comes down to button response and display readability during live timing, both of which matter more than build weight. The listed size figures likely describe the retail packaging rather than the handheld unit itself.
