Ramset Cobra COBIII Powder Fastening Tool Kit

Overview

A contractor who already has loads and fasteners gets the tool body alone here, made by Ramset as part of its Cobra line. The finish is orange and the size is listed as medium.

The listing is thin, so the weight, the dimensions and the warranty are the main hard facts. Anything beyond the tool itself, including loads and fasteners, is unlisted.

Who it's for

A pro replacing or adding a fastening tool, with supplies already on hand, matches the bare tool listing. A first-time buyer who needs a complete kit should look at a listing that names its contents.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

A powder actuated tool drives fasteners using the energy of a load, so results depend on the load strength, the fastener and the base material. The listing names none of these, so working capacity cannot be judged from the page.
