Overview
A navy vinyl item listed under Saddle's FR520 line, sized at 33 by 15 by 2 inches and weighing 1.5 pounds, fitted with a carabineer clip.
The category and title both place this as a bobber, but the dimensions and weight are far larger than a typical single fishing float, which usually runs a few inches and a few ounces. Buyers should check the retailer's own listing photos before ordering, since the size and vinyl build here point more toward a bag, case or mat than a small strike indicator.
- Navy vinyl construction
- 33 x 15 x 2 inch listed size
- 1.5 pounds
- Includes a carabineer clip
Who it's for
Hard to recommend confidently without clearer product photos, since the specs on file do not match what most anglers mean by a bobber.
Pros and cons
- Vinyl construction resists water
- Carabineer clip allows attachment to gear or a pack
- Dimensions and weight are unusual for a bobber and worth confirming before buying
- Vinyl construction is not typical for a float
Performance notes
Vinyl construction and a carabineer clip suggest an item meant to be carried or clipped to gear rather than cast and retrieved on a line, which sits at odds with how a bobber is normally used.
