Overview

Canned pate wet food formulated for puppies, with chicken and brown rice as the primary ingredients. Sold as a case of twelve 13 oz cans, so it is set up as a regular part of a growth-stage feeding routine rather than a single topper.

Purina lists this as additive-free and free of common allergens, with claims tied to brain development, immune support and skin and coat health during the growth stage. It is a pate texture only, so owners wanting chunks in gravy or a different consistency will need a separate product. The high-protein positioning follows Purina's veterinary-diet line for growing dogs.

Chicken and rice pate for puppies
Additive-free, allergen-free formula
12-can case, 13 oz each
Supports brain, immune and skin/coat development

Who it's for

Puppy owners feeding wet food exclusively or mixing it into kibble for growth-stage dogs. Not intended for adult dogs, since the formula is built around puppy nutrient needs.

Pros and cons

Pros

Additive-free and allergen-free label claims
Chicken and rice recipe aimed at brain and immune support
Case of 12 cans suits a regular feeding routine
Pate texture mixes easily with dry kibble

Cons

Pate only, no chunk or gravy variety in this listing
Formulated for puppies, not usable long-term into adulthood
Wet food needs refrigeration once a can is opened

Performance notes

The chicken and rice recipe is formulated around puppy growth claims: brain development, muscle building, immune support and skin and coat nourishment. Being a pate, it blends easily with kibble or serves on its own, and the individual can size (13 oz) suits daily portioning without opening a larger tub.
