Overview
This is a replacement 12-cup glass decanter for Bunn coffee brewers, made from shatter-resistant, laboratory-grade glass with a polymer connection that skips the usual vinyl gasket.
The orange color is not just cosmetic. One reviewer points out that on Bunn systems, an orange handle or band typically signals a decaf pot, which is worth knowing before ordering a replacement in this color for a regular coffee decanter.
- 12-cup capacity
- Shatter-resistant lab-grade glass
- Gasket-free polymer connection
- Orange decaf-style coloring
Who it's for
Fits anyone whose original Bunn decanter cracked or broke and needs a direct glass replacement, particularly where a decaf pot needs to be visually distinct from regular coffee at the same station. Not the choice if you specifically need a clear or dark-handled decanter for regular coffee, since orange is typically the decaf signal.
Pros and cons
- Direct replacement for a cracked Bunn glass decanter
- Shatter-resistant, temperature-rated glass
- No vinyl gasket to wear out over time
- Low cost relative to buying a new coffee maker
- Orange color signals decaf on most Bunn setups
- Glass may stain faster than the original, per reviewer
- Top insert not included, per one reviewer
