Overview
Yasutomo sells this Fold'ems pack as foil origami paper in assorted metallic colors, cut into square sheets. The metallic face adds brilliance to paper folding projects. The paper is described as non-toxic.
Shine is what this set offers, and the even split across nine colors gives a balanced palette for small projects. Only one sheet size comes in the pack, and the listing does not say how the foil behaves under sharp folds.
Who it's for
Crafters making decorations, gifts or showpiece models can use the shiny faces to stand out. Large-batch folders, class sets and anyone who needs several sheet sizes should buy a bigger mixed pack.
Pros and cons
- Metallic foil shine
- Even spread of nine colors
- Square sheets suit standard bases
- Only one sheet size
- Small sheet count
- Paper weight not listed
- Foil may show creases
Performance notes
A metallic face reflects light, so folded edges and layers stand out more than they would on plain paper. Crease sharpness and how the foil handles repeated folding are not described, so test a sheet before committing to a complex model.
