Overview
A manual flea comb from Master Grooming Tools with a 3-inch metal comb head and a contoured plastic grip. It's built for pulling fleas and debris out of a pet's coat by hand.
This is a hand tool, not an automated or chemical flea treatment, so its job is mechanical: fine-set metal tines pull fleas, flea dirt, and loose debris out of the coat as it's dragged through. The contoured grip is the main design update over a flat comb, meant to reduce hand strain during longer grooming sessions.
- 3-inch metal comb head
- Contoured ergonomic grip
- Manual, no batteries needed
- Works on all hair types
Who it's for
Owners doing manual flea checks or spot removal on cats or dogs, often alongside a broader flea treatment rather than instead of one. Not intended as a stand-alone flea prevention or treatment product.
Pros and cons
- Contoured grip reduces hand strain
- Compact 3-inch size for spot checks
- Works across different hair types
- Simple metal and plastic construction
- Manual only, no automated feature
- Small size means more passes for full coats
- Not a substitute for flea treatment
Performance notes
The fine tine spacing on a 3-inch metal head is what catches fleas and flea dirt as the comb passes through fur, while the contoured grip changes how comfortable repeated strokes are rather than how effective the tines themselves are. Being manual, results depend entirely on how thoroughly and often it's used.
