Overview
Not plain modeling dough, each Playfoam Pals pod hides a two-tone ball of foam with a mystery party animal tucked inside. Kids squish the Playfoam to find the Pal, then sculpt and play, since the foam never dries out.
The surprise toy inside makes opening each pod an event, while the Playfoam stays useful afterward. The foam does not stick to clothes or carpets. Pets are random, so duplicates and a hunt for the rare pig are part of the deal.
Who it's for
Kids from three up who enjoy collecting little animals and squishing dough will be delighted. Families wanting a set they can complete in one purchase should look for a full set.
Pros and cons
- Surprise collectible in each pod
- Playfoam never dries out
- Does not stick to fabric
- Random Pals, duplicates likely
- Rare pig is hard to find
- Small amount of foam per pod
Performance notes
Foam beads cling to each other but not to surfaces, so play stays tidy. The Pal is hidden in the foam, which encourages squeezing and digging. Two-tone colors mix as kids sculpt.
