Overview
A vibrating bed shaker supplied with the clock does the waking, alongside the audible alarm of a digital bedroom clock. Wall power comes through the included power supply, and the unit also takes a battery.
Heavy sleepers get a physical shake that does not depend on hearing the alarm, with sound as a second layer. Loudness carries no rating in the listing, so the audible side cannot be judged from the specs.
Who it's for
Bedrooms where a regular beeping alarm gets slept through are where the shaker earns its place. Couples on different schedules may find the vibration wakes both sleepers.
Pros and cons
- Bed shaker comes in the box
- Runs on the included wall power supply
- Takes a battery alongside wall power
- Dual time feature listed
- Alarm loudness not listed
- Needs a battery on top of wall power
- Plastic housing and frame
- Shaker may wake a bed partner
Performance notes
Waking depends mostly on the shaker making contact with the bed where the sleeper lies, so vibration carries through the mattress. The audible alarm adds a second signal for people who do respond to sound. Wall power runs the clock, with a battery fitted as well.
