Overview
Not a simple waist belt, this Petzl harness wraps the torso as a full body design, with wide flexible webbing, adjustable straps and leg loops. Two flexible loops give attachment points, and the listing calls it especially suited to mountaineering.
Full body coverage is the point for climbers who want a full belt for protection during upright activities. The listing is partly garbled, so check size ranges and certifications on the maker's page.
Who it's for
Adults doing mountaineering or similar activities who want torso coverage and wide webbing. Climbers who need the larger size or a lighter harness should check other models.
Pros and cons
- Full body protection
- Adjustable straps and leg loops
- Certified to named standards
- Lightweight for its type
- Listing text is partly garbled
- Only size one covered here
- Shelf life limits use
Performance notes
A full body design spreads load across the torso and legs, so a fall does not rely only on a waist belt. Correct adjustment of the straps and leg loops decides how well it holds, and the harness must be checked against its stated shelf life.
