Overview
Berkley's 1135071 spool holds 110 yards of clear monofilament line rated for 8-pound test. It suits anglers restocking a spinning reel with a straightforward mono rather than a specialty braid or fluorocarbon.
This reads as a basic refill spool sized for 8 lb test and 110 yards, enough for a light to medium spinning reel. The listing's material field is inconsistent with the title and category, so treat it as a standard monofilament rather than a fluorocarbon leader. No diameter or stretch figures are given, so compare those separately if they matter for your reel.
- 110 yard spool
- 8 lb line weight
- Clear color
- 0.08 lb spool weight
Who it's for
Fits anglers who want a clear, 8-pound test mono to spool a spinning reel for general freshwater fishing. Less suited to anglers who specifically want fluorocarbon or need heavier line for big fish.
Pros and cons
- Clear finish keeps line low-visibility
- 110 yards covers a full respool
- 8 lb test suits light freshwater use
- No line diameter listed
- Material labeling in the data is inconsistent
- Single weight option in this listing
Performance notes
Monofilament like this stretches under load and floats, which makes it forgiving on hooksets and easy to handle on spinning tackle. At 8 lb test and 110 yards, the spool suits light to medium freshwater setups rather than heavy offshore or braid-rigged reels.
