Overview
Not a foam block, this Morrell target is a rectangular bag made from stacked polypropylene layers that stop arrows. Two sides can be shot, and the weatherproof build lets it stay outside.
Two shooting faces double the life before the target needs replacing, and the layered bag is aimed at backyard compound bow practice. The listing calls it a field point target, so it does not cover broadheads.
Who it's for
Archers shooting field points at modest distances in a yard. Hunters testing broadheads should use a target built for them.
Pros and cons
- Two shootable faces
- Limited two year warranty
- Field points only
- Heavy at listed weight
- Included items unclear
Performance notes
Stacked layers slow and stop the arrow, and the bag shape lets arrows be pulled out without much damage. Shooting both faces spreads wear, but the same spots repeatedly hit will wear out first.
