Overview
The Lifetime 6446 is an 8 by 15 foot resin storage shed in Desert Sand, built from dual wall HDPE panels over a steel frame, sized for lawn equipment, bikes, or seasonal gear.
At 15 feet wide it sits toward the larger end of Lifetime's shed range, and the peaked roof means interior height varies from 70 inches at the walls up to 94 inches at the center, worth checking against tall items like upright mowers or ladders before buying. It ships in more than one box, and those boxes can arrive on separate days.
- 8 x 15 foot exterior footprint, 7'10.8" peak height
- 6 skylights plus 2 shatterproof polycarbonate windows
- 5 heavy-duty steel trusses, steel-reinforced lockable doors
- 10-year limited manufacturer warranty
Who it's for
Households needing a large, low-maintenance outdoor storage building that never needs painting. Not a fit for anyone wanting a small, easily moved shed or one that arrives fully assembled.
Pros and cons
- Large interior footprint at 90 by 174 inches
- Lockable steel-reinforced doors
- Low-maintenance HDPE never needs painting or sealing
- Backed by a 10-year limited manufacturer warranty
- Interior ceiling drops to 70 inches at the side walls under the peaked roof
- Ships in more than one box that may arrive separately
Performance notes
The dual wall UV-protected HDPE panels sit on steel wall supports, with 5 heavy-duty steel trusses backing the roof and lockable steel-reinforced doors for security. Six skylights and two polycarbonate windows bring in light without traditional glass panes.
