Overview
A lake, pond or mild river is where this Intex Excursion boat set gets used. It comes with two oars, a high output air pump and a carry bag, so it can be inflated and launched from the one kit.
Roomy seating for five and a generous weight rating make it suited to group outings and fishing trips. The material entry in the spec table is clearly wrong, so rely on the description and contents list.
Who it's for
Anglers and families who paddle, fish or float on lakes and gentle rivers and want everything in one set. Those planning rapids or sea trips need a different, sturdier craft.
Pros and cons
- Oars, pump and bag included
- Seats five adults
- High weight capacity
- Weather resistant build
- Material entry in specs is wrong
- Not for rough water
- Bulky even when stored
Performance notes
A large inflatable hull gives stable floating on flat water, and oar power moves it slowly. Wind and current affect a boat this size more than a small kayak, so calm water is the stated use.
