Overview
Carrying several Hohner harmonicas in one case lets a player switch harps between songs without digging through pockets. The feature list describes brass reedplates over a plastic comb.
A set in one case serves players who switch harps between songs. The weak spot is the listing itself: it names G as the only key and borrows description copy from the Marine Band, a different model with a wood comb.
Who it's for
Gigging players and students working through songs in different keys will use a set like this most. Anyone who cares which exact keys arrive should get the key list from the seller first.
Pros and cons
- Five harmonicas in one bundle
- Carry case included
- Plastic comb, not wood
- Keys in the set not listed
- Description copy describes the Marine Band
- Short warranty period
- Mouthpiece item is unexplained
Performance notes
Response depends on reed gap and how well the reedplates seal against the comb, and a plastic comb holds its shape where wood can move with moisture. Brass reeds shape the tone and how readily notes bend.
