Overview
At the rear axle of a car or truck, this Rancho RS9000XL series shock replaces the original unit. The style row says adjustable, and the listing offers an extended length and a long list of replaced part numbers.
Rancho supplies the figures that matter for a swap, an extended length and a position, and a cross-reference list for matching. What is missing is any description text, the adjustment steps and the vehicle names.
Who it's for
An owner replacing a worn rear shock on a car or truck can check the extended length and cross-references against the old unit. Anyone working on the front axle, or who wants a documented adjustment range, needs a different listing.
Pros and cons
- Extended length stated
- Long cross-reference list
- Rear position stated
- Vehicle fit not listed
- Adjustment range not described
- No description text
- Material row reads polyurethane
Performance notes
An adjustable shock lets the owner change the valving to suit load or use, and extended length decides whether it fits the travel of the rear axle. The listing gives no damping figures or number of settings.
