Overview
A precision-honed stainless blade behind a thin floating foil is the working part of this Panasonic travel shaver. It runs on AA batteries, shaves wet or dry, and rinses clean under the tap.
Light weight, no charger and a washable body make it easy to pack for trips or the gym. It shaves with or without foam. Running on AA batteries means buying replacements, and the single blade works slowly on thick stubble.
Who it's for
Travellers and gym-goers who want a quick, compact shave will like the battery power and washable body. People with dense beards who shave daily should look at a multi-blade rechargeable.
Pros and cons
- Light and compact
- Shaves wet or dry
- No charger needed
- Cleaning brush included
- Batteries not included
- Single blade slower on thick stubble
- Warranty wording unclear
Performance notes
Closeness comes from the angled blade cutting behind a very thin foil, while the floating head follows the jaw. Motor speed stays steady with fresh batteries but drops as they run down. Rinsing under warm water after each shave clears hair and foam.
