Overview
The Marcy MD-9010 is a power cage built for home gym setups, weighing 373 pounds and measuring 70 inches deep, 79 inches wide, and 85 inches tall in a brown and silver finish.
A power cage this size and weight is a permanent gym fixture rather than something moved room to room, so floor space and ceiling clearance matter before ordering.
- 373 pound item weight
- 70 x 79 x 85 inches (D x W x H)
- Brown and silver finish
Who it's for
Fits anyone setting up a dedicated home gym space with room for a large, heavy cage, typically for squats, bench presses, and pull-ups. Not practical for small apartments or anywhere floor space and ceiling height are limited.
Pros and cons
- Heavy 373 pound build adds stability under load
- From Marcy, an established home gym brand
- Large 70 by 79 by 85 inch footprint needs dedicated space
- Very heavy, not practical to relocate once set up
- No recent purchase activity shown in the past month
Performance notes
At 373 pounds, the cage's own mass adds stability during heavy squat and press work, which matters for safety when lifting near your limit. The 70 by 79 inch footprint and 85 inch height mean it needs a dedicated space with adequate ceiling clearance, and moving it once assembled is not practical.
