Overview
Fruitables' pumpkin supplement is a canned paste of pumpkin built as a fiber source for digestive support in dogs, sized at 15 oz per can.
Pumpkin is a familiar home remedy for canine digestive upset, and Fruitables packages it as a shelf stable paste rather than asking owners to prep fresh pumpkin themselves. The included components text on the listing also references a dog and cat version, though the product is primarily marketed as a dog supplement.
- 15 oz canned pumpkin paste
- Marketed as a fiber and digestive supplement
- Allergen free
- Sized for large dog breed use per listing
Who it's for
Owners looking for a fiber source to mix into a dog's regular food for digestive support, rather than a treatment for an existing gastrointestinal condition that needs a vet diagnosis.
Pros and cons
- Convenient paste form, no fresh pumpkin prep
- Allergen free formulation
- 15 oz can for repeated servings
- No dosing detail provided in the listing data
- Included components text references cats, creating some ambiguity about species fit
Performance notes
Pumpkin's fiber content works by adding bulk and moisture to stool, which can firm loose stool or ease constipation depending on how much is added. As a topper, its effect depends on the amount mixed in relative to the dog's regular food volume, which the label should guide.

Frequently asked questions
What form does Fruitables' pumpkin supplement come in?
A paste packaged in a 15 oz can, not fresh or pureed pumpkin prepared at home.
Is this a treatment for digestive illness?
It is marketed as a fiber supplement for digestive support, not a diagnosed treatment, so ongoing issues should still go through a vet.
Does this work for cats as well as dogs?
The title and target species field list it for dogs, though the included components text also references a version for cats, so check current packaging if buying for a cat.
