Overview
Peanut Butter and Co. makes Smooth Operator as a creamy spread from USA grown peanuts, with no hydrogenated oil or high fructose corn syrup. It works on sandwiches, in oatmeal or straight from the jar.
Smooth texture with a short, clean ingredient profile makes it an easy everyday peanut butter. It includes sustainably certified palm oil, so it is not a peanuts only spread.
Who it's for
Sandwich makers, oatmeal stirrers and snackers fit this creamy spread. Shoppers avoiding palm oil should choose a different jar.
Pros and cons
- Creamy, smooth texture
- No hydrogenated oil
- USA grown peanuts
- Vegan and gluten free
- Contains palm oil
- Storage guidance not listed
Performance notes
Palm oil helps hold the peanut oil in suspension, which gives a smooth spread. Without hydrogenated oil, texture can change with temperature, firming in the cold. Stirring before use evens out any separation.
