Overview
Feeding foam balls into a machine, a young batter sets the angle and speed and waits for the red light to flash before each release. Four C batteries power it, and a four-ball set is in the box.
Slow speeds and soft balls suit children learning to hit, and the light signal helps timing. The pitching rate is fixed, and the batteries and bat are not provided.
Who it's for
Kids aged six or seven up to the mid-teens working on hand-eye coordination in the yard. Players ready for faster pitches will outgrow it quickly.
Pros and cons
- Three adjustable speeds
- Three pitch angles
- Includes foam practice balls
- Light signals each release
- Batteries not included
- Fixed pitch interval
- Outdoor use only
Performance notes
Speed selection changes how fast the foam ball leaves the machine, and the angle changes its path. The feeder can expand to hold more balls, so a batter can take many swings between refills.
