Overview
A 330-yard spool of Sufix monofilament fishing line in 14-pound test, finished in hi-vis yellow and made from a resin-based line material.
At 330 yards (11,880 inches) this is a full-size refill spool rather than a short leader length, and the 14-pound rating puts it in a mid-strength range suited to a broad mix of freshwater species. Hi-vis yellow makes the line easy to track on the water, which matters more for watching for strikes than for staying invisible to fish.
- 330-yard (11,880-inch) length
- 14-pound test
- Hi-vis yellow color
- Monofilament construction
Who it's for
Anglers who want a mid-strength, high-visibility monofilament for general freshwater use and like being able to see their line on the surface. Not the choice for anglers who need a low-visibility line for spooky, clear-water fish.
Pros and cons
- 330-yard spool covers multiple respools
- 14-pound test suits general freshwater use
- Hi-vis yellow makes strikes easier to see
- Hi-vis color is more visible to fish than clear or fluorocarbon lines
- Monofilament stretches more than braid
Performance notes
Monofilament has stretch that helps absorb hooksets and headshakes, and the resin-based construction gives it the flexibility typical of the category, though it lacks the abrasion resistance of braid or fluorocarbon. Fourteen-pound test covers a wide range of freshwater targets without adding much visible line diameter.
