Overview
The Barska AD11334 is an 88mm objective spotting scope with manual focus and a 1.7-degree field of view, in a 3.75 x 3.75 x 13 inch body.
The 88mm objective puts this Barska model among the larger scopes in its catalog, aimed at pulling in more light for low-light or long-range viewing than the brand's compact options. At a listed 16 lb, this is a scope for a fixed tripod setup rather than handheld or backpack use, though that weight figure is unusually high for the stated dimensions and may include packaging.
- 88mm objective lens
- Manual focus system
- 1.7-degree field of view
- 3.75 x 3.75 x 13 inch body
Who it's for
Hunters and range shooters who want a large-objective scope for long, low-light viewing sessions from a fixed tripod position. Not a fit for anyone wanting to carry a scope any real distance.
Pros and cons
- Large 88mm objective lens
- Manual focus for direct control
- Listed 16 lb weight rules out handheld use
- Narrow 1.7-degree field of view
Performance notes
The 88mm objective lens is sized to gather more light than Barska's smaller scopes, and manual focus lets the user dial in sharpness by hand; the 1.7-degree field of view is typical for a scope built around magnified detail over a wide view.
