Overview
A single-call entrance, such as one tenant door, is what this Aiphone set serves, with an entrance station and a handset tenant station. The door release is powered by the entrance station, so no extra transformer is needed.
The reason to buy is the simple two-wire installation and the included power supply, entrance station and tenant station in one set. The limitation is audio only, and wiring distances and door release requirements are strict, so the cable runs need planning.
Who it's for
Single-tenant entrances where a visitor presses a button and the tenant answers on a handset. Larger buildings with several units should pick a multi-call system, and video buyers should look at a different line.
Pros and cons
- Includes entrance, tenant station and power supply
- Door release powered by entrance station
- Call tone volume with mute indicator
- One call only
- Cable distances are limited
- Door release resistance requirement
Performance notes
The tenant handset is full-duplex while the door station is hands-free, so the conversation flows without a talk button on the visitor side. Wire gauge sets how far the power supply can sit from the stations, with thicker wire reaching farther.
