Overview
A violinist who wants a quiet practice instrument gets a maple and ebony electric violin in a yellow finish, with a pickup, volume control and jacks for amp, headphones and a backing track. The outfit arrives with its own hard case.
Everything needed to start playing is in the package, from the bow and rosin to the aux cable, which saves hunting for accessories separately. The limit is the right-handed layout and the thin detail on the pickup.
Who it's for
Students and casual players who want silent practice and an easy way to plug in will find the package complete. Anyone expecting a handmade professional instrument or a lefty setup will not find it here.
Pros and cons
- Bright yellow finish
- Complete accessory package
- Headphone jack for quiet practice
- Output jack with cable included
- Fittings grade unspecified
- Pickup type not described
- Finish limited to varnish
Performance notes
The pickup sends the string signal through the output jack, so the amp or PA controls volume and tone. A volume control lets the player set the ambience, and the headphone jack allows private practice. A line-in jack accepts a backing track for playing along.
