Overview
An automatic milk frother and hot chocolate maker from Capresso with an 8 ounce frothing capacity and a 12 ounce capacity for heating milk without foam.
The froth PRO separates frothing from plain heating by capacity and by a dedicated control, with illuminated buttons for cold, hot or warm settings, so it can also just warm milk without whipping air into it. The pitcher is removable and dishwasher safe with a see-through lid.
- 8 oz frothing / 12 oz heating capacity
- Illuminated cold, hot and warm controls
- Dishwasher safe removable pitcher
- See-through lid
Who it's for
Fits a coffee or hot chocolate drinker who wants an automatic pitcher rather than a handheld whisk, and who wants the option of warmed milk with no foam. Less useful if only single serving handheld frothing is wanted.
Pros and cons
- Separate froth and heat-only modes
- 8 oz froth capacity, 12 oz heat-only capacity
- Removable, dishwasher safe pitcher
- See-through lid to watch progress
Performance notes
The internal mechanism and heating element work together to fold air into milk up to the 8 ounce mark, or simply heat it without foam up to 12 ounces, with the mode chosen through the illuminated control panel. The pitcher lifts off its base for pouring and cleaning.
