Overview
Spinning inside skate wheels, these Bones Super Reds ball bearings come sixteen to a pack. The listing notes a skate rating and a compatible racing lubricant.
Skaters replacing a worn set get a full pack in one order, and the rating confirms they are meant for skating. The listing does not name bore diameter or wheel fit beyond the outside diameter, so shoppers should check that detail.
Who it's for
Skateboarders and skaters swapping out bearings who want a standard pack of sixteen can use it straight away. Anyone who wants ceramic material should look at the Ceramic Reds.
Pros and cons
- Sixteen bearings in one pack
- Metal ball bearings
- Racing lubricant noted
- Bore diameter not listed
- Wheel fit not stated
Performance notes
Ball bearings reduce friction between the axle and the wheel, and the lubricant film decides how freely they spin. Racing lubricant is thin for speed, so dirt and moisture matter more than they would with a heavy grease.
