Logitech Z623 2.1 Speaker System

Overview

A home office desk or gaming corner is the setting for the Logitech Z623, a wired speaker set with two satellite speakers and a floor subwoofer. It runs from wall power and plugs into a desktop or laptop.

Bass from a separate floor subwoofer gives a computer setup real low end without a full home theater, and the listing names THX as the audio mode. Weak points sit in the paperwork: inputs are not described and the Bluetooth entry conflicts with the wired connection type.

Who it's for

Gamers and music listeners at a computer desk, with floor space for the subwoofer, are the setting. Home theater buyers chasing rear surround speakers should look for a multi-channel system.

Pros and cons

Performance notes

Bass depth comes from the separate subwoofer, so placing it on the floor near a wall or corner shapes how much low end reaches the desk. Output is shared between the satellites and the subwoofer, so volume headroom follows the total power rating rather than each speaker alone. Detail at the desk depends on aiming the satellites toward the listening position.
