Overview
Sufix 660-130G is a 30 pound test braided fishing line spun from Dyneema and GORE Performance Fiber, sold on a 300 yard spool in Low Vis Green.
Braided lines like this trade the stretch of monofilament for higher sensitivity and thinner diameter at a given strength, which matters when detecting light bites or fishing near structure. The Low Vis Green finish is meant to blend into stained or off color water rather than disappear entirely in clear water.
- 30 lb test
- 300 yards per spool
- Dyneema and GORE Performance Fiber blend
- Low Vis Green color
Who it's for
For anglers who want a 30 lb braid for baitcasting or spinning reels where sensitivity and reduced diameter matter, such as flipping cover or fishing deeper water. Not aimed at anglers who prefer mono's stretch.
Pros and cons
- Low stretch for direct bite detection
- 300 yard spool at 30 lb test
- Thin diameter relative to strength
- Green tint may still show in very clear water
- Braid can dig into itself on backlash without careful spooling
Performance notes
Braided construction from Dyneema and GORE Performance Fiber gives the line minimal stretch, so strikes transmit directly to the rod tip, and the thinner diameter at 30 lb test lets more line fit on a reel spool compared to equivalent strength monofilament.
