Overview
This is an 8 ounce liquid ear cleaner for cats and dogs, meant to loosen dirt and debris in the ear canal as part of routine at-home hygiene rather than treating a diagnosed infection.
Vetoquinol's cleanser has been sold since 2004 and comes as a simple drop-based liquid rather than a wipe or spray. It is marketed across both cat and dog ear care listings on Amazon.
- 8 ounce ear cleansing solution
- Formulated for both cats and dogs
- Drop-based application
- Sold since 2004
Who it's for
Pet owners doing regular ear maintenance on a cat or dog. It is not positioned in the data as a medicated treatment, so an existing infection still calls for a vet visit.
Pros and cons
- Works across both cats and dogs
- Simple drop-based application
- Long-running, established product
- Attribute data does not list active ingredients
- 8 ounce bottle is modest for multi-pet households
Performance notes
The liquid is applied as drops directly into the ear canal to loosen dirt and debris, which is then worked out through normal shaking and wiping rather than any active medication.
