Overview
A crowd or a sideline is where this Pyle megaphone does its job, with talk, siren and recording modes on push buttons. USB and an aux jack let it play from a phone, MP3 player or flash drive.
Recording and playback let the staff loop a message, and USB removes the need for a separate speaker. Eight batteries add weight and upkeep to operation, and the range numbers conflict.
Who it's for
Crowd control teams, schools and sports staff who play pre-recorded messages will use it as designed. Users who want Bluetooth or rain protection should choose another model.
Pros and cons
- Record and playback
- USB and 3.5mm aux inputs
- Push button control
- No wireless connection
- Eight C batteries needed
Performance notes
Volume depends on the driver and battery supply, and low batteries thin out the sound before they fail. The horn throws sound forward, and a recorded message plays at the same level as live speech.
