Overview
Franklin Sports covers a blow molded core with a soft foam layer and a vinyl skin to make this mini stick, paired with a plush ball. The soft build is meant to protect furniture and kids during play.
Young Bruins fans get a safe, indoor-ready hockey toy that also works outside. The set is tiny and light, and it is not meant for serious practice.
Who it's for
Young children who want a team toy for living room or backyard play will take to it. Players who want to practice real stickhandling should look at a standard junior stick.
Pros and cons
- Foam covered for safe play
- Indoor and outdoor use
- Plush ball included
- Toy size, not for real practice
- Cleaning steps not listed
- One team design per listing
Performance notes
The foam over the plastic core absorbs impact, so swings that hit a wall or toy do little damage. A soft ball travels less and slows quickly, which holds play within a room.
