Overview
A case of six Wal-Board Tools drywall hammers (model WH-12, item 002-001), each with a 12 ounce head and 13 inch handle, sized for driving and setting drywall nails.
Drywall hammers pair a lighter waffle-faced head with a hatchet-style blade for scoring and snapping board, and the 12 ounce weight here sits in the range typical for that trade rather than a heavier framing hammer. Selling as a 6 pack points this listing at crews or contractors outfitting multiple workers rather than a single homeowner buying one hammer.
- 6 hammers per case
- Model WH-12, item 002-001
- 12 oz head weight
- 13 in handle length
Who it's for
Contractors and crew leads outfitting several workers with matching hammers are the target buyer here, more than a single homeowner who only needs one.
Pros and cons
- Six matching hammers in one order for crew use
- 12 oz head sized for repeated drywall nailing without fatigue
- 13 inch handle from an established drywall tool brand
- Sold only as a 6-pack, not available as a single unit here
Performance notes
A 12 ounce head with a 13 inch handle keeps the hammer light enough to swing repeatedly through a shift of hanging board without the fatigue a heavier framing hammer would cause, while still driving drywall nails and setting them below the paper without tearing it.
