Overview
A teaching lab needing a few matching liter flasks can buy this Pyrex narrow mouth set of three. They are borosilicate glass with a round bottom and a heavy duty rim, according to the title.
The reason to buy is a matched set of three standard liter flasks. The limitation is the sparse listing: no graduations, weight or dimensions are given, and Texas orders require a permit.
Who it's for
Benches that run several mixing or titration setups at once and want matching flasks. Those needing full specifications must check the manufacturer data, and Texas buyers must provide a permit.
Pros and cons
- Pack of three
- Heavy duty rim
- Graduations not listed
- Weight not listed
- Texas permit required
Performance notes
Borosilicate glass handles temperature changes better than ordinary glass, and a heavy rim protects the lip. The listing gives no scale or tolerance data.
