Overview
Rounded shoulders and a turf tread with moderate lugs are the working parts of the Carlisle Multi Trac. The shoulders roll over grass without scuffing on turns, and the tough compound resists cuts while giving steady traction.
Owners get a tire that balances grip with gentle turf contact, which suits mixed lawn and light utility work. The listed load capacity is clearly an error, so rely on the load index and ply count.
Who it's for
Homeowners and landscapers running mowers on finished turf will appreciate the rounded shoulders. Tillers and trenchers in soft dirt need a lug tread.
Pros and cons
- Rounded shoulders protect turf
- Tough rubber compound
- Commercial or residential use
- Six ply bias carcass
- Rim not included
- Load capacity field unreliable
- Shallower tread than lug tires
Performance notes
Turf protection comes from rounded shoulders that do not dig in during tight turns. Traction relies on the symmetrical tread, which grips grass without the bite of deep lugs. Carrying capacity depends on running within the pressure limit for the ply count.
