Overview
The Fishbites 0094 is a pink attractant strip measuring about 12 by 0.5 inches, sold in a pack of two. It falls under Fishbites' scent infused bait line rather than a live or cut bait product.
Fishbites products are synthetic bait strips infused with scent and flavor, meant to be cut into pieces and threaded onto a hook as an alternative to natural bait. The pink color and strip dimensions here point to a bar meant to be cut down for individual rigs rather than a single ready to fish piece.
- Pink color
- About 12 by 0.5 inch strip
- Two pieces per pack
- Scent infused synthetic bait
Who it's for
Anglers who prefer a mess free, precut alternative to natural bait, or one that holds up longer in the water than live bait, are the natural fit. Anglers committed to live or fresh cut bait will find little reason to switch.
Pros and cons
- Synthetic strip needs no refrigeration or bait bucket
- Scent releases gradually for a longer soak
- Packaged in a two piece count
- Only two pieces per pack
- Not a substitute for live bait presentation in every situation
Performance notes
As a scent infused synthetic strip, the material is built to release attractant scent gradually over a longer soak, an advantage over natural bait that can wash out or fall off the hook quickly.
