Overview
A camp kitchen or a backyard grill top is where this Camp Chef griddle belongs. It is a bare alloy steel plate in a rectangular shape, sold as the griddle only.
A large flat plate turns a grill or camp stove into a flat cooking surface. The listing names no heat source it fits, and no handle or edge details, so check your cooker before ordering.
Who it's for
A camp cook who already owns a compatible stove or grill and wants a flat plate on top. Shoppers expecting a self-contained cooker with a burner should look at a full unit.
Pros and cons
- Alloy steel plate
- Large rectangular cooking surface
- Camp and grill uses listed
- No nonstick coating
- Not dishwasher safe
- Compatible stoves not listed
Performance notes
A flat steel plate spreads heat across its surface, so food cooks more evenly than on open grates. With no coating, results depend on oil and on how the plate is cared for.
