Overview
An electric percolator with a 1000 watt element and 12 cup capacity in stainless steel. Built for brewing a full pot of strong, hot coffee for a household or gathering rather than single servings.
Percolators work differently than drip machines, cycling boiling water through grounds for a stronger, hotter cup. Several long-time percolator owners upgraded to this model and found it held up to their older units. One serious safety report below is worth reading before buying.
- 1000 watt heating element
- 12 cup capacity
- Stainless steel housing
- Electric percolator brewing style
Who it's for
Households who prefer old-style percolated coffee and want enough volume for a family or a small crowd. Not for anyone who wants single-cup brewing or an auto shutoff safety net.
Pros and cons
- Strong, hot coffee praised repeatedly
- Full 12 cup capacity for groups
- One reviewer's plug began smoking on two separate units
- No stated auto shutoff protection
