Overview
This Hawaiian Tropic spray pump oil is an 8 fluid ounce dark tanning formula with SPF 6, made for all skin types and tones in a tropical scent.
SPF 6 is a low level of protection built for tanning rather than the higher-SPF sun protection lines in the same brand, and the oil format with a spray pump is meant for quick, even application over the body. It's positioned as oxybenzone free and dermatologist tested.
- 8 Fl Oz tanning oil, spray pump
- SPF 6 sun protection
- Oxybenzone free, dermatologist tested
- Tropical scent, all skin types
Who it's for
Fits people intentionally tanning who want light SPF coverage rather than strong sun protection. Not suitable for anyone who needs meaningful UV protection, since SPF 6 blocks only a small fraction of UV exposure compared to SPF 30 or higher.
Pros and cons
- Oxybenzone free formula
- Spray pump for even application
- 8 fl oz size
- SPF 6 offers minimal sun protection
Performance notes
At SPF 6, the sunscreen component filters only a limited portion of UV rays, which is standard for tanning oils designed to darken skin rather than shield it. The oil base and spray pump are built for even coverage across the body, and the formula is marketed as softening and nourishing on skin.
