Overview
Not a basic taste-only pitcher, this ZeroWater uses a multi-stage ion exchange filter aimed at removing nearly all dissolved solids from tap water. Water passes through the cartridge into the pitcher, and a curved comfort-grip handle supports the pour.
Certified reduction of lead, chromium and forever chemicals, plus a meter to check the output yourself, gives clear evidence the filter is working. A change filter indicator flags when to swap cartridges. How many gallons each cartridge lasts is not stated.
Who it's for
Households worried about lead or forever chemicals get certified filtering with a way to check it at home. People who drink large amounts daily may tire of refilling a pitcher.
Pros and cons
- Certified for lead and forever chemicals
- TDS meter included to check output
- Change filter indicator
- Comfort-grip handle for pouring
- Filter lifespan not listed
- Pitcher size limits high-volume use
Performance notes
Ion exchange media pulls dissolved solids out of the water as it passes through the filter stages. The included meter shows the result as a TDS reading, and the change filter indicator tells you when the cartridge is due for replacement.
