Overview
Not a meal and not a toothbrush, Dingo Dental Sticks are daily chew treats with real chicken in the middle. Chewing scrubs the teeth and massages the gums, while baking soda and parsley seed add freshness.
Chewing action does the cleaning, and the chicken center gives a dog a reason to work at the stick long enough to scrub. Chicken is the listed allergen, and the calorie count is not on the listing.
Who it's for
Owners adding a simple daily chew to a dog's routine, at any breed size or life stage, are the target. Dogs allergic to chicken, or dogs that gulp treats without chewing, should not get these.
Pros and cons
- Real chicken in the middle of each stick
- Baking soda and parsley seed for freshness
- Chewing action scrubs teeth and massages gums
- Listed for all breed sizes and life stages
- Contains chicken, a listed allergen
- Calorie count not listed
- Packaging may vary between bags
- Dogs need supervision while chewing
Performance notes
Cleaning comes from friction as the dog chews the stick, which scrubs the tooth surface and massages the gums. Baking soda and parsley seed are added for breath, and results depend on daily use and on the dog chewing rather than swallowing pieces whole.
