Overview
Freestanding 5-gallon water cooler from Clover in a polyethylene black cabinet, powered by a standard electrical cord, with a sturdy 35 lb build for a fixed floor spot.
At 14 x 14 x 40 inches and 35 lb, the B7B-Black is built more like a traditional floor cooler than a compact countertop unit, with enough mass to sit steady once a full bottle is loaded. Corded electric operation is confirmed, though the listing does not break out hot and cold taps individually.
- 5-gallon capacity
- Polyethylene cabinet
- Corded electric power
- 35 lb
Who it's for
Suits homes and small offices that have a permanent floor spot for a cooler and want a plug-in unit rather than a bottleless filter. Not the choice for anyone wanting a lightweight or portable dispenser.
Pros and cons
- Corded electric operation
- Stable 14 x 14 in footprint
- Standard 5-gallon bottle compatibility
- 35 lb weight makes it a fixed-position unit
- Hot and cold tap functions not itemized
Performance notes
The 35 lb cabinet weight, well above the featherweight class of tabletop dispensers, points to internal components rather than a simple gravity design, consistent with its corded electric power source. Polyethylene construction keeps the exterior lighter than metal alternatives while the 14 x 14 in base gives it a stable stance for a 5-gallon load.
