Overview
A 4 lb bag of grain-free dry dog food sized for small breeds, built around a chicken, sweet potato and pumpkin recipe with an additive-free formulation. The granule-form kibble is proportioned for an adult small-breed dog's feeding needs.
This is a small-format bag rather than a bulk purchase, which suits trying the recipe before committing to a larger size or feeding a household with only a small dog. The grain-free and additive-free claims apply to the whole formula. Chicken sits as the named protein alongside sweet potato and pumpkin as the carbohydrate and fiber sources.
- Grain-free chicken, sweet potato and pumpkin recipe
- Small breed specific formula
- 4 lb bag size
- Additive-free claim
Who it's for
Best for owners of adult small-breed dogs looking for a grain-free option in a trial-sized bag. Owners of large dogs or multiple pets will find the 4 lb size runs out quickly for regular feeding.
Pros and cons
- Small 4 lb bag suits trial use or small households
- Grain-free, additive-free formula
- Chicken-based recipe with sweet potato and pumpkin
- 4 lb bag needs frequent repurchase for regular feeding
- Grain-free isn't necessary or beneficial for every dog
- Sized for small breeds only
Performance notes
The granule kibble size is proportioned for small-breed jaws rather than a general-purpose kibble cut down. Grain-free and additive-free are formula-wide claims covering the whole recipe, not a single swapped ingredient, with chicken as the named protein source and sweet potato and pumpkin providing the carbohydrate base.
